The coffee ritual
One time for carrying your liquids you could use metal containers with a special snap closure that during transport avoided the leakage of the content. The same mechanism that now is used to seal glass jars hermetically.
From this we designed a new product that thanks to the past improves the future, generating a simple innovation. We looked at the world of coffeepots and introduced a new opening and closing system that is more simple.
For the Italians coffee is an irreplaceable tradition. The moka that completely revolutionized the way to make coffee at home was born in Italy: the same boiling system is still used today by all coffeepot producers.
* Boccaccia refers to the inner spout of the coffeepot, very similar to a mouth, in conjunction with the word boccaccio, which in local dialect means "jar".
